Guillermo Viveros

Sr. Director of Finance
TiVo

With 18+ years of progressive leadership experience in Finance and Treasury management in the high-tech industry, my focus has not been limited to just finance—but expanded to include strategic planning, business modeling for diverse businesses, the start-up of financial infrastructures and functions, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, system implementations, and leadership of global teams. Highlights of my career include: - Led the financial integration of two at large scale SaaS product groups during the Rovi and TiVo merger. - Led the annual planning process for the TiVo product group including the development of financial models for the cloud (hosted) and on premise software and service offerings. - Led the development of a software-only pricing model for Juniper’s security business, assessing the impact to revenue and the P&L, and recommending the new model after projecting a positive revenue impact of +10% over a 6-year period. - Identified root cause of declining profitability margins in Juniper’s service business, and provided first-time visibility and linkage to operational and financial results, resulting in executive decisions and business turnaround. - Developed the financial structure and investment profile for a major product transition, partnering with Juniper's senior leaders to make investment decisions for growth, while managing revenue stream. - Transformed P&L management—leading the transition from a functional focus to a true, business-owner focus, establishing a scalable and repeatable financial foundation and robust business model. I am recognized and trusted as a strategic business partner to executive leaders—consistently delivering the in-depth analyses and recommendations that lead to actions, and ultimately improvements, in all areas of the business. I am a hands-on and collaborative leader, with the ability to motivate individuals, teams, and cross-functional groups to accomplish objectives.
