The Path to Customer Centricity: Innovation and Mindset Change

As companies enter the digital age, they face the threat of being disrupted by smaller, more nimble players on the one hand, or global giants on the other hand. Mediacorp, as an example, is in the midst of re-inventing itself to face and overcome new challenges. At the heart of this transformation is customer-centricity. While it started as a top-down structural change to move from a platform-centric model to a customer-focused structure, customer centricity is not just about changing boxes in an org chart or evolving processes in swim-lane diagrams. Customer centricity is all about mindset changes and innovation… We will explore customer centricity from insight to product innovation to customer experience, and how mindset and innovation play a critical role in shaping our relation to customers.

Strategizing in the Times of Digital and Financial Disruption

'Software is eating the world' - Marc Andreessen. One may not fully agree with the statement, but the sentiment is correct. Software is indeed disrupting the world. Industry after industry is being transformed - often in a very good way. But with the ever increasing pace of innovation and disruption, how do companies stay alive? Stay ahead of the curve? And dispel competition? Transform rather than be transformed, or yet, forgotten.
