Kathleen is the COO of Ecomedes, a platform that helps buildings reduce operational costs through sustainable and healthy product selection. We have assembled the largest collection of products for buildings with certification data on sustainability and health metrics. Kathleen has worked in silicon valley software startups for 15 years. Prior to that, she worked in NYC for Accenture Consulting, Chanel, and Calvin Klein. She was a pioneer or big data and optimization at ProfitLogic which was bought by Oracle in 2006. She spent five years at Oracle running a global Sales Consulting team for retail technology. Since then, she has been on the executive team of Revionics (merchandising optimization), Quri (in-store execution intelligence, bought by Trax Retail), and Wiser (brand competitive intelligence). She has been a passionate environmental activist for decades working with groups such as The Five Gyres, The Surfrider Foundation, and Save The Waves, As part of her environmental work, she collects ocean plastic from surf spots all over The Pacific Ocean and builds educational sculptures. Kathleen lives in Ocean Beach, SF with her husband and son. They all like to surf and ski as much as possible.
