Director & Head of Data Service
Meggy was appointed to her current role as Head of Data Services for APAC and EMEA in July 2018. In this role, she is responsible for delivering innovative data solutions for Citi’s Global Consumer Banking (GCB) business across 17 countries in APAC and EMEA. As part of her responsibilities, Meggy will be spearheading and directing the strategic development of the bank’s data capabilities to accelerate the deployment of analytics, insights and scalable data-driven omni-channel solutions that will provide insights and add value to Citi across all its customer engagement channels. Prior to her current role, Meggy was the Head of Infrastructure Service Delivery, where she had oversight of the seamless delivery of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure services covering all aspects of service, risks and financials to Citi’s GCB business in APAC and EMEA. Meggy moved from London to join Citi in Singapore in 2014, where she managed the APAC infrastructure services for the GCB business. Her responsibilities were subsequently expanded to include the business’ EMEA operations two years later. In her first year of joining Citi, she was the winner of the ‘ARC of One Citi Excellence’ Award in recognition of her outstanding performance at the bank. Before joining Citi, Meggy was a Lead Infrastructure Partner at Barclays, where she serviced all businesses of the bank covering Retail, Cards, Investment Banking and Wealth. She was also instrumental in implementing Barclay’s India Delivery Centre and banking platforms in Africa during her time there. Meggy had also been the Head of Service Control at British Sky Broadcasting, a role that saw her implementing the Service Control Function and theInformation Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management framework for the company. Meggy spent the early part of her career at Accenture servicing clients in Financial Services, primarily in project delivery before specializing in IT outsourcing and operational transformation. Meggy is passionate about Inclusion and Diversity at work, and has played an active role in driving this agenda in all the organizations which she had worked for. Her efforts were recognized in the form of her nomination as a Leader of the Year finalist in the ‘FDM everywoman in Technology Awards’ in the United Kingdom in 2013. At Citi, Meggy is a core member of the Region’s Technology leadership team, and Co- chairs the Citi Singapore Women Affinity. She also chairs WiT@SG (Women in Technology at Singapore), a special interest group under the Singapore Computer Society, comprising a network of female professionals in the industry with the aim to increase and advance the participation and leadership of women in technology. Meggy holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of London and a Business of Science (Hons) in Statistics and Operational Research from the University of London.
