Jon Akerman is the Global Digital Director of the Movember Foundation, the only global charity focused solely on men’s health. As a cancer survivor and longtime Movember fundraiser, Jon jumped at the chance of joining the Foundation in 2016. With more than 15 years of leadership experience across multiple industries in political campaign fundraising, grassroots community organizing, community marketing in tech, startups, and story development, Jon looks at social change as having the ability to drive convergence through innovation. Now leading a new global digital division at Movember, Jon’s team sits at the heart of supporting marketing, fundraising and game-changing men's health programs across the complete digital experience. Raised in the Midwest, Jon resides in Toronto, Ontario.
