Owen Wyatt is Managing Director, Commercial at Shortlist Media, the pioneer of the “freemium” publishing model. Taking the lead on all commercial activities and digital operations, Owen spearheads the strategic commercial direction across the business. Prior to his role at Shortlist Media, he was Head of UK Advertising Sales at CNN International, and specialises in the development of content strategies as well as commercialising video content for media organisations. Owen played a key role in transforming CNN International’s content sales business and reinvigorated its positioning to the UK advertising market. He has also held a number of senior positions with Reuters and Base79, and specialises in news and sports media, as well as creating successful digital branded content partnerships with marketers.
