I am passionate about using data and models to create economic value and I have very practical hands-on experience in databases, machine and deep learning creatively applied to eCommerce, advertising, customer acquisition and marketing investment. At Facebook, we conducted some of the most sophisticated experiments using social network partition and advanced predictive models to complement our A|B testing in the promotion of new products; we also executed large programs consisting of Ad campaigns, in-product notifications and off platform channels, that accelerated product adoption. At Symantec I managed the end-to-end analytic lifecycle of Norton One the first multi-platform/multi device product; including acquisition, transformation and integration of customer data across web, support and product usage systems; created a behavioural database for advanced customer segmentation and dashboards providing critical insights. Upon assuming the position of manager of analytics at Google, I designed programs to boost the compensation team's technical capabilities. Specifically, I managed the creation of a next generation HR analytics database that made possible sophisticated planning cycles, valuation modelling, employee segmentation, and predictive promotion models; as a result my team was able to manage large allocation process of cash bonuses and stock options. In my prior experience I provided analytic support to aggressive marketing campaigns, performed critical modelling and monitoring and conducted propensity analysis on offerings.
