Director, Creative Strategy
The Economist

I am a writer, strategist and filmmaker who covers media and communications, tech, finance and the arts. I am currently the Director of Content Strategy for North America at The Economist. Prior to my move to The Economist, I was SVP, Global Integration for Mediaco at Weber Shandwick, and was Vice President, Head of Content and Strategy at Social@Ogilvy in New York. Previous to that, I was the North American Editorial Director of the online marketing publication Econsultancy. In 2013, I was included as one of the voices of Microsoft's Business Reimagined. My former roles included acting editor of About the BBC, the BBC corporate blog and website, as well as managing the online corporate reputation and strategy for the BBC. In this role, I was one of the key leads in developing the new corporate website, bringing 60 websites into one central location, and it won Best Corporate website (Bronze) in the Digital Impact Awards 2012.
